ryeX High School Youth are invited to join us for a week-long Mission Trip to Charleston, SC! We will be doing various projects around the area, having a free afternoon, and connecting with other students from churches, too. The cost of the trip includes transportation, housing, mission trip fees, all meals except lunch on the way down and lunch on the way back, and a fun activity. We hope you can join us on this adventure!

Located in the Park Circle area of Charleston, Charleston Youth Mission immerses young people in one of the oldest cities of our nation. Participants will learn about the area’s rich history as well as the current situation of the city. From slavery to today’s racial-economic disparity, at Charleston Youth Mission we will look at the common threads, serve our neighbors, and reflect on God’s call for justice and equity for all.
Charleston Youth Mission
YMCo Mission Immersion experiences typically include both physical labor (such as cleaning, landscaping, or sorting food) and relational experiences (such as providing hospitality and friendship to our neighbors living on the margins). YMCo has long term relationships with dozens of agencies, and our staff accompanies all groups to their worksites. In the evenings, YMCo staff lead debriefing sessions that include Bible Study, group conversation, and art projects as a means of reflecting on the group’s mission experiences.

We will be staying at the Charleston Atlantic Presbytery headquarters (4701 Park Place West, North Charleston, SC 29405). There are rooms designated there for CYM.
