CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2023
Allison has been a NAM and SSOC participant for the past year. She said, “SSOC has inspired me to help others, not only my community but the people around me. Also, getting to learn more about God really makes me feel like God is calling me out to help my neighbor and the community by being genuine and wholehearted.” Allison is bound for Georgia State University in the fall to study Business Administration.
Valeria has been part of NAM since she was in third grade and with SSOC since 2019. What she likes about SSOC: “I have attended RPC’s VBS as a participant and as a volunteer, Xtreme Retreat, Rutledge, SSOC meetings, and volunteer opportunities; all that has helped me to grow as a person and influenced my decision to become a nurse.” Valeria will attend the University of North Georgia in the fall to pursue her nursing degree and would like to be a nurse practitioner someday.
Nicolas has been involved with NAM Programs since September 2015. From 2015-present, he has been in numerous RPC programs, including choir, multiple camps, trips, and summer activities like VBS. He has been active in SSOC and is the Summer Intern for Mission Outreach this year. All these experiences have helped him grow in his faith and become a very engaging young man. This fall, he will attend Georgia State University as a Pre Med major and pursue a bachelor’s degree in biology because he wants to become a doctor to help save lives.
Alfred has been part of NAM and SSOC since 2021, attending meetings and community service experiences. He said he has enjoyed service because this is what SSOC is about. Alfred has contributed to SSOC by participating in the Zoom calls and by volunteering and giving back to the community. Alfred will attend Gwinnett Technical College in the fall to study auto mechanics because he loves cars. He would like to expand his knowledge in auto mechanics and open his own shop with his brother.
Josue has been part of NAM since the beginning of this ministry at RPC, as his mother has been an active community leader. He consistently attended VBS and then joined SSOC when he started middle school. He said he has enjoyed every experience and involvement in the SSOC community service experiences and ryeX youth activities and events. Josue is heading to Kennesaw State to study mechanical engineering and minor in business.
